Nothing ever sounds bad to me. Every tone I hear out of a guitar or amp has its own place in art. Even out of tune instruments can be used to create something unique and beautiful. Try plugging the guitar into an envelope filter first, then out into the little amp. Mic the little speaker with an SM57 and run it through a channel with compression and a little EQ. I guarantee that you won't ever say that this thing is trash 😊

Ha! I have one of these. Think a relative bought it for me. It fit like shit in every guitar and would spin constantly like you show. It somehow sounds worse in person. Real tinny and like the guitar is 50 miles away. Has it's uses though for testing and to give it credit mine still works after all these years.
