In case you're wondering how the first one couldn't possibly be hard: the reason for its secret simplicity is that all you're doing is playing the bow on one string back and forth really quickly most of the time, which is generally pretty easy.

OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SONG!!! I'm a beginner, and Devil's trill sonata was the first violin song that I ever listened to, and it's one of my favorites. I hope that I will be able to play it one day, but you nailed it!!

I can vouch for that, after playing for about 5 years, first one is pretty easy if you know the finger placement, all you do is play the note just over and over but you you also add a note from the A string starting with c#, hope that helps with knowing the finger placement by listening TvT

Everything is hard on the violin,
Even playing just a single note can be hard to do correctly
(I'm not a violinist, but I imagine it is hard because you need to learn both how to use a bow, and where are the notes on the neck)

I’ve been playing the violin for almost 7 years and yes I know how to read music but I’m still really slow with it and I haven’t practiced the violin religiously especially as a kid. Now I’m 16 and I’m in love with my orchestra class I love the teacher she’s amazing and she was going back and forth between my high school and one of them biggest high school in Wisconsin because the teacher got arrested. She’s really stressed out but she try’s her best to don’t let that out on anyone. Four days ago was our spring concert which is the last concert of the year and our most emotional one because we are losing such wonderful people in the music community at our school. The orchestra, band and choir teachers are very close and get along so well that we got quarter-zips that say tremper music on them instead of each group gets a different one. During the concert all the seniors were crying because they were leaving and because they were leaving a wonderful group of people. I wasn’t as emotional till I realized I’m graduating into year, I never been in any kind of school group ever and this family we have at my school that consists of the band, orchestra and choir is my school family. I love them all and I’m trying my best to get them all on some kind of social media platform so I can keep in contact with them over the years. I’m really sad because the choir teacher is retiring after this school year, but my sister got to graduate having her favorite teacher.
